Is the invention a product or a process?

A product invention relates to a tangible entity, such as a device, system, material, or chemical composition, and focuses on its structural features and physical characteristics, essentially, what the invention is. In contrast, a process (or method) invention relates to a sequence of steps or actions, such as a manufacturing method, a method of use, or a technical procedure, and focuses on how something is made, used, or operates essentially, how the invention works.

Title of the Invention

The title should clearly and concisely define the technical nature of the invention and its general application. It should reflect the core subject matter using precise technical terms, enabling a reader (or examiner) to quickly understand the field of the invention. Avoid trade names (brand names), vague or generic expressions, and laudatory terms (e.g., “new,” “smart,” “improved”). Abbreviations should generally be avoided unless they are widely recognized in the relevant technical field. The title should not be overly broad or overly detailed, but instead strike a balance that accurately represents the invention without limiting its scope. Ideally, it should also align with the main independent claim and use terminology that supports effective classification and prior art searching.

Description

  • Describe the technical problems your invention addresses, the technical solutions you propose, and the advantages of these solutions compared to existing methods.
  • The more detailed and precise your description is, the more accurate and comprehensive the search results will be.
  • Please provide a text of at least 200 words and up to 1000 words.
  • In the next step, your description will be automatically divided into three main categories: technical problem, technical solution, and advantages. Each category is then further separated into individual segments.
  • You will be able to review these categorized segments and modify them if needed.
  • After completing the search process and reviewing the analysis results, you may delete all the information you have entered.
